2008 WUC Cycling: Update

The 5th World University Cycling Championship, which is being held in Nijmegen, the Netherlands, from May 19th to 26th, 2008 has received full support of the International Cycling Union. Below you will find the recommendation letter from UCI president Pat McQuaid to download. Next to the road disciplines this championship also contains two categories of mountain biking; Cross-Country and Mountain bike Marathon. The Organisation Committee is proud to announce that these categories will be placed on the UCI calendar. This means that your country’s competitors can earn UCI points, besides the fact that they can compete for the World Champion title.
