FISU representatives met ISU Director General
Roger Roth, CTI Chair, Marie Lundmark, CT Chair Figure Skating, and Milan Augustin, Director for Winter Universiade, met with ISU Director General, Fredi Schmid, to discuss all relevant technical issues concerning the next Winter Universiades: Harbin 2009 and Erzurum 2011. This meeting offered a great opportunity to discuss the collaboration between FISU and ISU in the future. The main points were the following: the judging process at the Winter Universiades, the application of recent ISU regulations and the preparation of the memorandum concerning the general conditions to host the Winter Universiade in figure skating, in short track speed skating and in speed skating long track competitions. FISU representatives left the ISU Headquarters and highlighted the very positive approach with which the Director General dealt with these important facts as to pursue this fruitful cooperation.
