2008 WUC Futsal: Day 4

The Organising Committee scheduled some cultural and social activities in the free day (August 28th). Heads of Delegation, FISU family, organising committee FIFA delegate and some other authorities were invited to one boat trip in the Adriatic sea followed with a lunch at the Koper harbour. During the lunch, FISU EC delegate, Pedro Dias, had the opportunity to congratulate SUSA, the Organising Committee and Slovenian Football Association for the very good work planning and organising the 11th WU Futsal Championship. Boyan Sturm (SUSA board member) and Patrick Perosa (Member of Organising Committee air Chairman of the Futsal Committee of Slovenian FA) were presented with FISU token of appreciation in front of the heads of delegation. FISU Vice-President, Luciano Cabral, was also present in the lunch. After the lunch, guests were invited to visit the University of Primoroska, and were welcomed by the vice rector of the University. Tomorrow, quarters finals and matches for placing from 9th till 16th place will be played.
