FISU will be Present in European Parliament Exhibition

From April 15th to 17th, the European Parliament in Brussels will host an exhibition to commemorate a century of international ice hockey. As the exhibition will show a century of international ice hockey with the major events per decade, Universiade ice hockey could not be left out as it is part of ice hockey’s international history as well with 19 editions of the Universiade Ice Hockey Tournament being staged so far. FISU Media Representative Christian Pierre, who is also the Secretary-General of the Royal Belgian Ice Hockey Federation, got involved in the project as the Belgian Federation was one of the Founding Members of the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) in 1908 and this year also celebrates its 100th birthday. This is another milestone for FISU as it is the first time our federation will be present at an event in the European Parliament.
