The second day of the FISU Development Seminar was dedicated to the constitution of the Oceania University Sports Association. After having established and adopted the statutes, the eleven representatives decided to officially found the Oceania University Sports Association on February 25th in Apia, Samoa. The delegates elected an Executive Committee until the next General Assembly that will take place in 2009. The Secretariat of the OUSA will be based in Apia, Samoa at the National University. Mr. Tuilaepa Lupesoliai Sailele Malielegaoi, Prime Minister of Samoa with FISU Vice-President Stefan Bergh
On the 25th of February Mr. Stefan Bergh, FISU Vice-President, and Kolë Gjeloshaj, Director of Educational Services and Chief of Staff to the President, met with the Mr. Tuilaepa Lupesoliai Sailele Malielegaoi, the Prime Minister of Samoa, who was very enthusiastic about learning from Mr. Bergh that the OUSA secretariat will be based in his country.
