FISU Vice-President meets with President of NSUF of New Zealand

On their way to Samoa for the first meeting between FISU and the CUSF of Oceania, Mr. Stefan Bergh, FISU Vice-President and Mr. Kolë Gjeloshaj, FISU Director of Educational Services and Chief of Staff to the President met in Auckland with Hamish Hopkinson, the President of the National University Sports Federation of New-Zealand. It was the opportunity for Mr. Hopkinson who is leading the NUSF of New-Zealand for six years now, to explain to the FISU delegates how the NUSF of New Zealand is developing in integrating students from all Higher Education institutions. Mr. Bergh asked him on the participation of New-Zealand in the FISU Championships for the year 2008. Mr. Hopkinson is expecting to bring teams to 6 or 7 championships. He also explained what is the funding and the marketing policy of the NUSF. Finally, he spoke about the international program they are developing.
