Challenge 21 Meets in FISU HQ
March 24th, 2007

Mr. Bergh, Mrs Odell, Mr. Adeoti & Mr. Outeiriño
The members of the Co-ordination and Planning Group 'Challenge 21' met in Brussels at the FISU headquarters on March 23rd and 24th, 2007. The purpose of the meeting was to develop the final report and recommendations that will be presented at the General Assembly that will be held next August in Bangkok as an update on developments arising out of the strategic review and consequent action plan. The Group focused on offering the General Assembly a comprehensive overview of progress against objectives set in 2005. They covered the three key business areas of FISU (Universiades, Championships, and Education) along with the progress made in relation to media, marketing and communications, most notably the evolving picture around Associate Member status. In mid-May the Group will present its draft report to the Executive Committee and anticipates some positive outcomes based on the last two years significant effort and progress in FISU.
