Working Sessions in Belgrade

On May 22nd, Kolë Gjeloshaj Director of Educational Services and Chief of Staff had his second working session with the members of the Organising Committee of the 25th Universiade. He was welcomed by Sinisa Jasnic FISU EC Member and Vice-President of the Organising Committee, Mr. Zoran Jovanovic Executive Director and Ms. Mila Bizjak, Protocol co-ordinator took this opportunity to introduce him the new members of the team. This second day was focused on protocol. K. Gjeloshaj, together with the heads of the Protocol, Security and Marketing department visited the Red Star stadium for the Opening Ceremony. A meeting was organised between Mrs. Biljana Milic head of the Marketing department and representatives of the Institute for Manufacturing Banknotes and Coins of the National Bank of Serbia, regarding the lay-out and the production of the official medals. Ms. M. Bizjak and K. Gjeloshaj had a first preparatory meeting concerning all aspects of the medal awarding ceremonies for the next Summer Universiade that will be the largest in number of sports at the programme that FISU ever organised. It was also the opportunity to have a meeting with Mr. Damir Stajner and Ms. Natasha Jovanovic the two responsible for the volunteers. They had their first big event with the Eurovision Song Contest in Belgrade. They selected and train 1000 volunteers for this event. They took the opportunity to meet with volunteers on the site of the event. For this visit Mr. Aleksandar Zderic IT Director and M. Bizjak were accompanying K. Gjeloshaj.
