Continental Association News: EUSA Seminar

On July 22nd, in Ljubljana, the European University Sports Association together with the Slovenian University Sport Association organised a Seminar for its members and guests of the FISU Family at the University of Ljubljana . The subject of the Seminar was “The new FISU – The role of Europe and Continental University Sports Federations”. Were present at the seminar, the delegates from 24 countries and Mr. George E. Killian, FISU President; Mr. C-L Gallien, FISU First Vice-President; Mr. S. Bergh, Vice-President and Mr. R. Campana, FISU Secretary-General as well as some other members of the FISU Executive Committee (P. Dias, S. Jasnic, L. Eder, S. Douvis, K. Tamer, K. Leinus, M. Dymalski). The FISU Staff was represented by K. Gjeloshaj. FISU President G.E. Killian, EUSA President Alberto Gualtieri, SUSA President Otmar Kugovnik and EUSA Secretary-General Matjaz Pecovnik were received by the rector of the University, Mrs. Andreja Kocijancic and Mr. Bogdan Gabrovec, Vice-President of the Olympic Committee of Slovenia. Mayor of Ljubljana Zoran Jankoviæ attended the Opening session to welcome the participants. This seminar was the opportunity to a large and deep exchange of point of views on the future of the international university sport.
