2008 WUC White Water Canoeing: Update

The competition venue
At the 6th World University White Water Canoeing Championship, which takes place in Cunovo, Slovakia from Spetember 19th to 21st, 170 participants from 17 countries were accredited. Yesterday, September 18th, the Opening Ceremony took place, which was attended representatives of the Slovak Republic. Today, September 19th, the Mayor of Bratislava welcomed the Team Leaders and FISU representatives. In teh afternoon, the competition in Cunovo started.
