2008 WUC Rugby: Day 2

Men's Tournament
On July 18th, the second day of the championship, Russia has won from Italy in a very tight game. Great Britain has shown its strength winning from Canada. But the game of the day has been France against South Africa, which was won by a punishment try. In any case, France goes to the next round after winning Italy in the afternoon session. The Spanish team won first from Great Britain in a hard-fought game where the two teams have done their best giving a wonderful spectacle. In its second game, Spain defeated without any difficulties Chinese Taipei.
Women's Tournament
In the women's tournament there weren't any big surprises: Italy won from France altough with only a small difference, and Canada defeated Great Britain. The Spanish team qualified for the next stage without loosing any game. Yesterday they beat Canada and France.
