2009 Summer Universiade: Update

The Contest Committee
On September 18th, at the Faculty of Applied Arts of Belgrade, the Committee in charge of selecting the best lay out for the official medal of the 25th Universiade Belgrade 2009 met for the final choice. A contest was launched amongst the faculty with the support of the Central Bank of Serbia.
The 1st award is shared between Marko Stankovic and Nina Vujasin and the 2nd award will go to Jovana Petkovic. The Committee decided to select the proposal of Mr. Stankovic for the front and the one of Mrs. Vujasin for the back. The final proposal after adjustment will submitted to the members of the FISU Executive Committee during its meeting in Belgrade on October 17 and 18. If the front represents the stars symbol of FISU, the back is the map showing the confluence of Sava and Danube Rivers in Belgrade, Serbia.
Finalists Design Contest
