2015 Universiades: Update

Yesterday October 15th was the deadline for the National University Sports Federations to submit a letter of intent to bid for the 2015 Universiade to the FISU Office. So far, the FISU Headquarters has received six letters of intent. The following NUFS and their cities intent to bid for the 2015 Summer Universiade: BRASIL: Rio or Brazilia CANADA: Edmonton CHINESE TAIPEI: Taipei City KOREA: Gwangju POLAND: Poznan SPAIN: Vigo or Grenada Hamburg, Germany a previous intentional candidate to host withdrew. So far no candidates for the 2015 Winter Universiade have come forward.
