Bidding 2013 SU: Vigo Delegates Deliver Bid Book at FISU HQ

Today, March 14th, two delegates form the city of Vigo, Spain, Ms. Maruxa Fernández Llamatares, Communication Cabinet of the City Hall of Vigo and Ms. Ana Miranda, Representative at the European Parliament, delivered the bid book of the city of Vigo to host the 2013 Summer Universiade right within the deadline of March 15th. Since FISU Secretary-General Eric Saintrond was in Belgrade for a working visit, the Vigo delegates were welcomed by FISU Director of Education and Chief of Staff to the President Kolë Gjeloshaj. This brings the number of official candidates for the Summer Universiade to three, i.e. Vigo, Spain; Kazan, Russia and Gwangju, Korea. The final decision will be announced on May 31st in Brussels.
