Alpine Skiing: Giant Slalom Moves to Jafferau
Due to the weather conditions the Organising Committee decided to cahnge the competition area, but not of the venue, for two competitions of the Alpine Skiing in the XXIII Winter Universiade in Torino. The Giant Slalom Men and Women, organised on January 18th and the 19th respectively, are moved from Pian del Sole to Jafferau, which is also in the Bardonecchia venue.
Sales Record for Tickets
Meanwhile, the ticketing confirms the success of the sales. The Figure Skating Gran Galà at Palavela on January 21th is sold out as is the ice hockey match USA-Russia on January 22nd as well as the bronze and silver/gold final at Palatazzoli on January 27th. Also sold out is the final of Speed Skating Team Pursuit Men and Women at Oval Lingotto on January 23rd.
