This morning, January 1t3th, five delegations were already present at the 1st Head of Delegation meeting in the Athletes’ Village in Torino: CAN – JPN – RUS – UKR – USA. Head of Delegation Meetings are also planned to take place in Bardonnechia and Pragelato for which the meeting times will be announced later on. Members of the Organizing Committee and FISU will be present in each village to communicate and exchange the information and the minutes of the meetings. On the 16th at 8 am, a special HOD meeting will be dedicated solely to the Opening Ceremony. The present weather situation is that there is little snow in the mountains. Therefore, Sports Manager, Maurizio Dunnhofer, asks the delegations to cooperate with all the technicians and be patient. Information will be given to them shortly.
