From May 12th to May 14th, the FISU Executive Committee met in Brussels for the last time prior to the General Assembly in August. On Saturday May 12th, the Steering Committee met in the FISU Headquarters in Brussels and the day ended with a memorable feat, namely the signing of the first sponsoring contract. Gerflor, leader in sport flooring decided to become a partner of FISU. The contract was signed between FISU President George E. Killian and Pierre Lienhard, Gerflor Sports Flooring International Director.
