2008 WUC Field Hockey: Date Changes!

The Organizing Committee of the 1st World University Field Hockey Championship and FISU have decided to change the dates of the event from May 24th - June 1st to November 30th – December 7th as many interested countries where hesitant to send a team prior to the Olympics in Beijing. Therefore, by changing the dates, moving the tournament to a period after the Olympics, more countries will be considering sending a time, increasing the participation for this inaugural WUC. Due to this change we sincerely hope more FISU member associations will enter a team for this new FISU World University Championship.
