Women's Competition: Hungary Beats Brazil
Hungary flies. In its debut in the 19th World University Handball Championship the team trained by Josef Varga wins easily versus Brazil (39-28). The team arrived second at the World Championship in Danzica, after what we have seen yesterday in Oderzo, seems to be a group able to gain a good position also in this edition of the Championship. The most important particular? Hungary is a team that can react, that can have moments of distraction but, that can immediately, and they knows how well they can do it, set itself on the right track. Against Brazil, indeed, the Hungarian at the starting seemed to be in difficulties, so much that the South-Americans after no more than 6 minutes unexpectedly lead the match 6-2. Well, it was enough that during the time out Vargas calls on order his girls for making the music change. Quick actions, clear physical superiority respect their challengers, first-class technique: these are the weapons thanks to what Hungary had right of Brazil, reaching in the final phase of the second half even a maximum advantage of + 15 (38-23).
