Executive Director of UBOC to head up Thai Higher Education Commission

Yesterday, September 4th, the Thai Cabinet appointed Dr. Sumet Yaemnoon as the new secretary-general of the Office of the Higher Education Commission. Sumet, a deputy secretary-general of the office, will replace Dr. Krissanapong Kiratikorn, who will retire at the end of this month. The appointment will take effect from October 1st onwards. Dr. Sumet Yaemnoon was the Executive Director of UBOC, the Organizing Committee of the 2007 Summer Universiade in Bangkok.
