The weather conditions on the Bay of Gdansk are good for the competition: wind north – easterly strength force 3 to 5, state of the sea is 2, temperature is near 17 °C, visibility is perfect and it’s sunny. The level of the competitors is very balanced. So far the world ranking of the sailors is respected with strong performances of Stanczyk (POL) and Pasini (ITA). The sailors of the southern hemisphere are also performing very strong taking the lead in their pool: Junior, Corbett (NZL) and Ryan (AUS) share the first spot with the two Europeans. But we’re only in the first half of theRound Robin to qualify for the quarter finals. Today, Thursday July 3rd, the competitors will end the preliminary rounds.
