Former WUC Champion Becomes World Champion

Ellen van Dijk, former participant and multiple medallist at the 2006 World University Cycling Championship, has won the gold medal at the last day of the 2008 UCI Track World Championship in Manchester in the scratch discipline. The former WUC participant marked her presence in 2006, winning the gold medal in the women’s road race and the silver in the women’s time trial in Herentals, Belgium at the 4th edition of the WUC Cycling.
