YEUNGNAM UNIVERSITY

Yeungnam University was established in 1947, in response to the needs of the community. Since its establishment, the University has emerged as one of the leading universities in Korea. The Main Campus is comprised of about 900 scenic acres in Gyongsan near Metropolitan Daegu, and the College of Medicine and University Hospitals are located in Daegu. The University has 13 colleges and 36 schools with an undergraduate enrollment of 21,000. The Graduate School and 6 professional graduate schools are committed to the primary role of training specialists. The Yeungnam University Museum was selected and honored as one of the top nine museums and art galleries' among 1,000 museums and art galleries in Korea. The University is devoted to providing young generations with humanitarian, scientific and technological disciplines. The symbol of the University is the Cheonma, a mythical flying horse, which represents the vital spirit and the bright future of Yeungnam Univeristy.
