2010 WUC Chess: Update

The OC at the constitutional meeting
The Organisinig Committee of the 11th World University Chess Championship to be held in Zürich, Switzerland, met for a constitutional meeting. Under the leadership of OC President Bernhard Burkhardt and Kaspar Egger, Director of Academic Sports Association Zürich and also Head of Delegation of the Swiss Universiade Team Bangkok 2007, the OC members inspected several possible venue sites at Zürich University and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology. Supported by the Swiss Chess Federation the OC adopted a first version of the budget and agreed on the structure of the OC. The proposed dates are: Arrival: September 4th, 2010 Competition: September 5th to 11th, 2010 Departure: September 12th, 2010 The OC is composed of the following people: Bernhard Burkhardt, President of the OC Walter König, Vice-President Christine Dam, Secretariat Leonz Eder, Relations SUSF and FISU Kaspar Egger, Representative of ASVZ Georg Kradolfer, Representative of Swiss Chess Federation Josef Zellweger, Representative of Credit Suisse Group Hans Hemmi, Finances Matteo Cussigh, Finances Sebastian Wüthrich, Logistics Richard Forster, Press and Public Relations
