2008 WUC Badminton: Update

With little over 40 days to go until the start of the 10th World University Championships Badminton 2008, the past 13th to 16th of March saw Caldas da Rainha receive the 43rd Portuguese Internationals, organized by the Portuguese National Badminton Federation (FPB). This event had 146 athletes from 32 countries and the performance of 32 line judges that the University of Minho is qualifying with the recognition of the FPB in order to be present at the Badminton WUC in May. Their presence was largely complimented by the athletes, the event Referee (Frenchman Eric Lissilour) and from the FPB itself for their excellent technical level and social behavior. The next preparation moment, will be during the final stage of the National University Championship that will occur on the 23rd and 24th of April in Braga, where the WUC Badminton will take place.
