2009 Winter Universiade: A Visit to the Athletes' Village and Accreditation Center
Renovation Projects of the Students' Apartments in Heilongjiang University

Serving as the Athletes’ Village for ice sports competitions during Harbin Winter Universiade, Students' Apartments in Heilongjiang University covers a total area of more than 200,000 square meters. The afforestation and illumination projects of the three newly built squares have been implemented. To meet the accommodation and catering requirements during the Winter Universiade, Apartment Buildings No.27 and No.29 in Lizeyuan will start to be renovated from May to October, 2008, with an accommodation capacity of 1,648 athletes. Each room, with closets and drinking facilities equipped, has separate toilet and bathroom. Some small meeting rooms are also available in the buildings. Lizeyuan Catering Center, a 4-floor building, is the catering place for the athletes. Each floor can hold 800 people.
