VUSA Established

The inaugural Annual General Meeting of Vanuatu University Sports Association (VUSA) has approved the Proposal to establish VUSA. The Meeting which was held at the VASANOC Haus on Monday October 20th also approved the proposed statutes to be that for the newly established association. The Meeting was attended by members of the Working Group, Jean Pierre Nirua of USP Emalus, Joe Iautim, Acting Director of Sports and Henry Tavoa of VASANOC and representives from Malapoa College, Lycee LAB, INTV and Tebakor Colloge. On the issue of the Nomination and Elections of the VUSA Executive Committee, the Meeting decided to move this item to another Meeting to be held on Friday October 24th, 2008 at 9:30am at VASANOC Haus.
