A specialty is the breakfast basket for every guest with different sorts of pre-packaged food as well as coffee and croissant. The hotel is located in the city centre, just minutes from the main railway station, the opera and the city shopping district. Hamburg Fuhlsbüttel airport is only 10 km away. There is direct access to the underground train, Lohmühlenstrasse station. There they have to complete all accreditation forms and upload all documents and pictures of the delegation. They will be received on their arrival by officials and volunteers. The team guides will escort them to the accreditation office, which is located in the hotel using a shuttle service. The team guides will assist the delegations during the whole event in Hamburg. Transportation The Hanseatic City of Hamburg as a commercial city with world-wide business connections is an international transport junction. The Port (cf. www.hafen-hamburg.de), the Main Railway Station (cf. www.bahnhof-hamburg.de) and the airport (cf. www.ham.airport.de) are situated close to the city centre and are quickly reachable via public transport. A shuttle service of minibuses and cars will be arranged with vehicles from the university. For the duration of the event competitors and officials will be able to use public transportation on favourable conditions in times of private tourism. We try to realize a 24h Shuttle service additional. Security The security system will suffice international standards. Competitors and officials will receive personalised ID-cards that will legitimise access to sensitive areas. Access control will be provided by a professional security service. As a rule, Hochschulsport Hamburg cooperates with the police department in command at any of its big events. The Hanseatic city of Hamburg is famous for its big sport events in the city centre anyway and in that respect the local police are used to this kind of circumstances.

Medical Assistance The University Hospital situated in the city centre is affiliated to the University of Hamburg and will guarantee basic medical assistance. Being a big city, Hamburg has a sufficient number of medical facilities anyway. As a partner of Hochschulsport Hamburg the Olympic base Hamburg / Schleswig-Holstein (www.osphh-sh.de) together with the sports medicine institute of the University of Hamburg (www.sportmedizin-hamburg.com) will be responsible for the femininity controls and doping controls. Internationally recognised aid organisations, e.g. the Red Cross, will ensure first aid on site. The required means of transport naturally exist in sufficient number in a big city.
