MA News: Belgian NUSF Stages Finals

Yesterday, April 25th, BUSF, the Belgian University Sports Federation held its national finals in 9 sports: Basketball (men & women), Futsal (men & women), Handball (men & women), Volleyball (men & women), Soccer (men), Field Hockey (men), Rugby (men) and Tennis (men & women). Host of this annual event was the University of Antwerp. On different locations throughout the campuses of the University of Antwerp, within the city centre of Antwerp and on the outskirts of the city, the Belgian students competed for the highest honour under a leaden sun, with outdoor temperatures reaching almost 30° Celsius, the hottest 25th of April in Belgium ever!
One week earlier, on April 18th, the annual BUSF Ice Hockey Challenge was staged at the Ice rink of Leuven, a historical University City in the centre of Belgium. Traditionally, student players representing the Flemish Student Sport Federation (VSSF) and the Walloon Student Sport Federation (ASEUS) faced-off in a tight nail-biting game which was won by the ASEUS All-Star Team for the second time in a row.
