Futsal final between Brazil and Portugal
WUC Host Team Brazil won the inaugural World University Women's Futsal Championship. The Samba Girls beat Portugal in the finals today, September 13th, at the Gymnasium of the DED, the championship venue. The victory, indeed, was built in the first stage, when the Brazilian team scored 6 to 1. In the second period the Brazilians continued their 'Armada', although Portugal put up a good fight. In the bronze medal game, China beat Costa Rica 3-1, pocketing the bronze.
