A delegation of the 2011 Erzurum Winter Universiade Organising Committee paid a visit to the FISU HQ today. Lead by the governor of Erzurum, Mr. Celalettin GUVENC, the Mayor of Erzurum, Mr. Ahmet KUCUKLER and the Rector of the Ataturk University, Dr. Yasar SUTBEYAZ, the Turkish delegation came in Brussels to meet with the FISU Secretary General Roch Campana, the FISU Director General, Mr. Eric Saintrond. Mr. Roger Roth, Chairman of the International Technical Commission, Mr. Kemal Tamer, Member of the Supervision Commission for the Winter Universiade and Mr. Milan Augustin, Sport Assistant for the Winter Universiade were also present.

The aim of the visit was to explain to the Turkish delegates some important points related to the organisation of such a big event like the Winter Universiade. After the attribution, it's now time to work and even if 2011 is still far away, a lot of things have to be done. Together with the FISU delegates, the organisers were also trying to set up a calendar for the future inspection visits.
