2008 WUC Shooting: Inspection Visit

On December 5th, 2007, the FISU Technical Committee Chair for Shooting, Mrs. Ivana Ertlova (CZE) traveled to Beijing for a first inspection visit inspected to the Organizing Committee of 2008 World University Shooting Championship.
On December 6th, 2007, a preparation meeting was held in Tsinghua University. Professor Chen Xu, Vice-Rector of Tsinghua University as well as representatives from the Federation of University Sports of China (FUSC) and the Organizing Committee attended the meeting. According to the progress report, tentative competition rules, Mrs. Ivana Ertlova praised the smooth preparation of theOC and also put forward some valuable suggestions for improvement. After the meeting, the Chair investigated the cafeteria, accommodation hotel and also the two competition ranges: Tsinghua Sport Shooting Center and Olympic Games Shooting Center.
