FISU Signs Contract with Russia TV Channel ‘SPORT’

FISU Secretary-General Eric Saintrond & Vasily Kiknadze, CEO Russian TV Channel 'Sport'
Yesterday, March 10th, a contract was signed between FISU and Russian TV channel ‘SPORT’. FISU Secretary-General Eric Saintrond and the CEO of the All-Russian TV Channel ‘SPORT’, Mr. Vasily Kiknadze signed the contract. With this agreement, the Russian Sports channel will broadcast the next two Winter and Summer Universiades (2009 and 2011) in Russia and all other Russian speaking countries, but also all over the world via the satellite channel ‘Planeta Sport’. This is an important deal for FISU, which confirms FISU’s important progress in the world of sports media.
