Dr. Ken Min, the FISU Technical Chair for Taekwondo, was honored with special recognition by the Korean Government as A Member of the Honorary Advisory Board for the 60th Anniversary Celebration of the Founding of the Republic of Korea. He was selected as one of 40 out of 7,000,000 most successful Koreans who live and work overseas. Ken Min was invited as a special guest to Korea for the celebration and joined the other honorary members at a reception and dinner in Korea’s Blue House hosted by President and Mrs. M. B. Lee. The 40 Advisory Members included Koreans living overseas who fought in the Independence Movement to establish the Republic of Korea Government on August 15, 1948. Others were specialists in their fields of science, engineering, politics, music, writers and poets, medicine, and sports.
