2008 WUC White Water Canoeing: Update

The 2008 World University White Water Canoeing Championship will take place in Bratislava, Slovakia from September 19th to 21st, 2008. After two editions in Krakow, Poland, in 2002 and 2006 – the WUC was not attributed in 2004 – the championship goes to Slovakia, where wild water canoeing is a popular sport. The participants will be lodged in Hotel Barónka, Bratislava, some 30 km from the competition venue in Cunovo. The provisional program is as follows: September 18th Arrival of delegations Free practice September 19th Downhill men and women, qualifications September 20th Slalom men and women, qualifications September 21st Slalom and downhill, men and women, finals Closing Ceremony Banquet September 22nd Departure of delegations
