UBOC2009 Sponsors Charity Futsal Championship

UBOC2009, the Organising Committee of the 2009 Summer Universiade in Belgrade, Serbia, sponsored a charity futsal championship last weekend. The 20th edition of this international charity championship known as the 'SAGA Business League' which traditionally attracts companies, business associations, newspaper departments, sporting institutions and embassies in Serbia, took place in the 'Sumice Sports Centre' in Belgrade from June 2nd to 4th.
Universiade Belgrade not only sponsored the event but also took an active part by entering a team of the UBOC2009 staff. Team UBOC2009 proudly reached the semi-finals by beating the teams of the Greek and Russian Embassies, where they finally lost from the local football club Partizan. All the assets collected will be given to the Orphanage in Zvecanska, Belgrade.
