Executive Committee Meeting – Day 2

Today, August 3rd, the FISU Executive Committee held its second day of meetings of its 3-day session in Bangkok, Thailand. Today’s session of the Executive Committee meeting was entirely dedicated to the Universiades, as the Local Organising Committees of these events will present their progress reports. The OC of the Bangkok 2007 Summer Universiade presented its progress report followed by the reports of the Universiade Sports Commission. The progress report of the FISU Conference, which takes place during the Universiade, was also delivered as well as the protocol programme. Next were the reports of the President, the Secretary-General and the Treasurer. After the coffee break the Organising Committee of the 2007 Winter Universiade in Torino, Italy presented its final report. In the afternoon sessions the LOC of the next Universiades presented their progress report: Harbin, China (Winter 2009), Belgrade, Serbia (Summer 2009), Erzurum, Turkey (Winter 2011) and Shenzhen, China (Summer 2011).
