2008 WUC Golf: Update

The South African Student Sports Union (SASSU) is hosting the 12th World University Golf Championship from September 2nd to 6th, 2008. Venue for this event will be the Gary Player Country Club, Sun City, South Africa. The 12th edition of this championship promises to be a challenging golf tournament and an enjoyable experience on two of South Africa’s premier golf courses at one of the most prestigious resort complexes. Sun International is one of the largest and renowned hospitality groups in Africa with a portfolio of luxury hotels, casino and resort complexes throughout Southern Africa. Sun City is one of those resorts that has been established in a breathtaking setting, designed and decorated to complement its environment and theming. The Gary Player and Lost City golf courses, the competition venues for the men’s and women’s tournament respectively, are well known and have been admired from all over the world.
