5th World University Match Racing Championship
Gazi - Crete, Greece - July 5th to 12th, 2010
Events
One mixed tournament followed by semi-finals and finals.
Participation
Crews will consist of four or five (4 or 5) persons with a maximum of 350Kgs (men or mixed crew or entirely female). Excepting a CISCA decision, the skipper cannot be replaced during the championship.
One substitute is allowed per country.
The cost for participation is 60€ per person and per day including boat, accommodation, meals and local transportation.
Delegation
Each country is authorised to enter two (2) crews with a maximum of ten (10) competitors, one (1) substitute and four (4) officials, that is to say fifteen (15) persons. If only one team participates per country, the maximum will be: five (5) competitors, one (1) substitute and two (2) officials, that is to say eight (8) persons.
The countries participating in the Match Racing tournament must pay a 25% deposit to guarantee the participation of their team. This deposit must be paid to Organizing Committee of Crete (OC), otherwise the entry will not be taken into consideration. This deposit is 100€ per person, to be send before April 5th.
The boats (J 24) will be supplied by the Organizing Committee and drawn every day or at each stage.
Motorboats will be reserved for trainers.
Age Brackets
The competitors must be born between January 1st, 1982 and December 31st, 1992.
