BRUSSELS - With Water Skiing in Santiago de Chile (CHI) from January 12th to 15th, FISU will start a year which will see 28 World University Championships take place.
In April, Poland and the city of Lodz will host the 18th World University Cross Country Championship. Those two Championships will represent the kick-off of a WUC campaign which will last until December 22nd.
In May, Pocheon (KOR) the homeland of Taekwondo will be the host city of the 12th World University Taekwondo Championship in an area devoted to this sport, which can be developed as a philosophy in this part of the world. At the same time, Prague (CZE) will welcome the best university floorball teams of the world for the 6th World University Floorball Championship in order to find a successor to Sweden.
