ERZURUM – After the Ladies free program, French skater Candice Didier ended on first spot winning the gold. Number two and three after the short program remained the same, i.e. Spanish Sonia Lafuente-Martinez and Japanese Shion Kokubun, winning silver and bronze respectively.
Golden Team Rockettes
In the synchronized skating competition the teams today also performed their free program. Unfortunately, Team Surprise from Sweden had to withdrawn due to medical reasons. However, the outcome of the competition was without many surprises. Gold went to Team Rockettes (FIN), Team Marigold Ice Unity, also from Finland, got the silver, while Team Paradise from Russia settled for the bronze. Team Ankara University ended 4th.
