Women's final
ERZURUM - The finals of the women’s 1,500 m were traditionally an Asian affair. Three Korean and two Chinese skaters fought hard for the gold. It was Korean Eun Byul LEE who claimed the gold in a thrilling finale beating compatriot Ba Ra Jung and leaving the bronze o Chinese Jianrou Li.
Men's final
In the men’s 1,500 final the podium was All-Korean. Hwan Ee Kim took the gold, Tae Hoon Kim silver and Seoung Il Kim the bronze.
