To commemorate the inaugural edition of the World University Rugby 7 Championship, hosted in Beijing, China, the OC has issued a number of philately items, such as a series of postcards, two different envelopes and a stamp souvenir set. The postcards are comprised in a set of twelve (prepaid) with images of rugby and historical sites of Beijing. The two different envelopes carry the logo of the WUC. One envelope has a picture of the Great Wall, the other a dragon. The souvenir set is a four page booklet with information about the WUC and the China Agricultural University which hosted the event. The booklet holds an envelope with the logo of the WUC and the dragon and a sheet of 16 stamps with aditional stamps alternating the FISU logo, the WUC logo, the China Agricultural University logo and the logo of the Chinese University Sports Federation (FUSC).
