Working as a link between universities and students, FISU supports scholarship programmes as a way to strengthen its commitment to FISU Member Associations and their students.

Here are notable scholarship programmes FISU supports that assist students on their journey to become tomorrow's leaders. 

 

 

2018 Dream Together Master Programme

2018/2020 Dream Together Master Programme is a full scholarship graduate programme funded by the Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) and the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation (KSPO). This programme aims to consolidate international sport cooperation via global networking, as well as the provision of an in-depth insight in the area of sport management, serving as a way of preparation for leadership positions in sport fields.

RIOU Master of Sport Administration

The Master of Sport Administration of the Russian International Olympic University (RIOU MSA) is a one-year full-time programme of further professional development in sports management, endorsed by the International Olympic Committee and located in Sochi, Russia. The main objective of the programme is to produce a new generation of effective sports managers with both strategic and operational skills.

The course is based on the rich diversity of the Olympic legacy transformed into an original and innovative educational product. Students study both general and sport specific management subjects including the international business environment, sport diplomacy, economic theory, strategic management, marketing, finance and legal regulation within the sports industry. They also learn how political institutions (governments and other public authorities) work in the sports sector.

The FISU-Daegu Scholarship Programme (2011-2015)

A partnership between FISU and the Metropolitan City of Daegu, the FISU-Daegu Scholarship Programme was launched in 2011 as part of the legacy of the 2003 Daegu Summer Universiade, with the aim of encouraging young student-athletes to excel their academic and sports careers through financial support.

The programme focused on students aged between 17 and 28, from a FISU member federation/country, who have participated in FISU sporting events.
